The Reason behind the Petrol hike……..

Friends, the response received by Bharat Bandh represents your agitation , intolerance and grievances. You would like to know the reason behind the petrol hike ……….

  • On 31-5-2011 the dollar was Rs.46 and in International market , crude oil barrel was 114 dollars . On 31-5-2012 , dollar rate was Rs.56 and barrel rate was 88.87 which means that there was a reduction of Rs 267.
  • In May 2011 petrol was Rs 63.37 per litre and inspite of no raise  in crude oil price , the petrol price was raised to Rs. 77.92 and the Congress is liable to explain this rise of Rs.13 to 14 respectively.
  • The claim by Congress that the crude oil barrel price is increasing in the International Market is useless.
  • Secondly, Congress argues that the raise was to settle the losses of Oil Companies.
  • Three days back, one of the renowned companies , IPAC showed a profit of Rs 4361 crores in its quarterly report which is  4 times higher than the previous quarterly profit however, congress is misleading people.
  • Presently dollar’s rate is about Rs.56. In America the value of dollar is weak, industrial growth is stagnant and it is going through severe recession. Though our economy is weak , there is no fear, there is recession but not severe recession. At this moment Rupee getting weak has no chance but due to the money being stashed in the Swiss Banks and the dollars being purchased , our economy is getting weaker and the value of dollar is increasing……
